When Grupo Marti contacted us to design the corporate identity for their new solar energy solution, we wanted the brand to look like a company of the future. In our research we found a series of illustrations from the 60’s on Nasa’s public domain archive, depicting what was thought to be the future of human-made colonies in space, powered by solar energy.

For the symbol design, we wanted to play with the vastness of the sun in contrast with the size of planet Earth, to help communicate the endless source of energy that the sun represents for human civilization.
